The Odeon Cinema in Cheltenham was closed in September 2006 due to competition from a new multiplex and since has been standing empty. Its an Art Deco structure with these two nymphs above the main entrance. It looks likely that the building is to be redeveloped into a night club or demolished, everything is still in the air.
The corner of this building made an excellent composition for the diagonals project. The strong directional lighting has aided here, additionally the corner lies on a third.

Jay

Not often I get to photograph a Jay. A pretty bird with iridescent blue wing bars. A very shy bird that caught my attention when I saw its distinctive white rump as it flew into this tree. This particular individual is actually feeding on a young chick.
